Parsley
Parsley has a subtler flavour than many of the other herbs. It is great for Mediterranean foods, pastas, soups, salads or as a garnish.
A few variety highlights:
Forest Green Curly: Finely cut, frilly leaves. Heirloom variety has broader leaves and more flavour than plain leaf parsley
Moss Curled: Finely cut, curled leaves. Great finely chopped in salads or used whole as a garnish. A nice ornamental plant too
Giant of Italy Flat Leaf: Heirloom Italian variety with flat, large leaves and rich flavour. An excellent choice salads, soups and sauces
Plain Leaf: Heirloom herb with flat, glossy leaves. A variety is widely used in European cuisine.
Hamburg Root: Used for over 400 years, produces parsnip-like roots with a delicate parsley taste. Use for the roots or leaves. Excellent for soups or stews.
