Potatoes are a versatile and popular vegetable for our climate. Plant potatoes after the soil has warmed, usually around mid-May. (In the meantime, store in a cool, dark place and check weekly for any rotten ones.)

Yukon Gold: Mid season potato that makes great baby potatoes too. These medium size potatoes have smooth, golden yellow skin and flesh. Great for boiling, roasting and frying. Excellent for storage.
Satina: Mid to late season medium size potato that's best used for boiling. Decent for storage and very high yielding
