Food Gardening in Containers - Thursday, May 14 @ 6:30-8:30 pm
You don't need a giant garden plot to grow food - just hanging baskets and planters!
In this beginner-friendly workshop, we address all of the essential elements of container gardening. This includes how to select suitable plants, when to plant, what containers to use and how to care for the plants. We will focus on the most popular edibles like strawberries, tomatoes, cucumbers, herbs, lettuce and greens.
Based on our feedback from last season's food gardening workshop participants, this year's attendees will go home with a specially selected food growing package valued at $40-$45. It will include items like cucumbers, tomatoes, greens, and strawberry plants. It does not include the necessary containers and soil. However, if you need to purchase these items on the night of the workshop, or other food gardening related items, you will get 10% off your purchase.
You may also join the Hunniford Gardens Food Gardening Group. Here we'll post growing tips to support your gardening success.
The cost for this workshop is $65 plus tax.
Please Note: Purchase one workshop for each attendee. Once purchased, workshop fees are non-refundable. Please see our workshops page for more information.
If you purchase this workshop online, you'll still need to complete the shipping information at checkout.
